Orillia OPP have a man and woman in custody who they believe have been passing off fake American money in the area.
Police were able to track down the alleged counterfeiters at their home with some help from witnesses and video surveillance.
OPP seized additional counterfeit money at the suspects’ house. The funny money was in $50 and $100 denominations.
The purchases took place sometime in July.
