Police are on the lookout for a man who robbed a Nobleton pharmacy in a Santa Claus disguise.

A man wearing a Santa hat and a white beard walked into a pharmacy located in the area of King Road and Highway 27 on Wednesday, just after 1 p.m.

According to York Regional Police, the man told the clerk he had a gun and took a quantity of prescription drugs. He then then fled the store.

The suspect is described as a 25 to 30-year-old white man, 5’8” with a medium build and had a dark coloured beard. In addition to the Santa disguise, the man was seen wearing a grey sweater with coloured stripes, green pants, gloves and construction boots.

An image of the suspect was not provided and no injuries have been reported.
