Provincial police are investigating after a man allegedly broke into a woman’s apartment and sexually assaulted her.
Investigators say the man forced his way into a Collingwood apartment in the 200 block of Saint-Paul Street on Friday. This happened at around 3:30 a.m.
The victim reports not know the man; she was treated for minor injuries.
Police say the incident appears to be random. A description of the suspect was not provided.
The investigation is ongoing and anyone with information is encouraged to call the OPP or Crime Stoppers.
