Provincial police are reporting no problems, as day two of the WayHome Music and Arts Festival gets underway in Oro-Medonte.
OPP say a traffic plan that was implemented in an effort to curb backlogs was a success, with cottage traffic not “noticeably” being affected through Barrie and Oro-Medonte.
Over 30,000 concert goers moved into Burl’s Creek for WayHome late Thursday night.
As part of the traffic plan, OPP are enforcing controlled access along Line 7 and Line 9. Additionally, police have closed Line 8.
Commuters travelling through that area can expect heavy traffic on Sunday night when WayHome comes to a close.
