The WayHome Music Festival will be held at Burl’s Creek from July 23 to 27 and here are somethings you need to know.
General Info:
- Camping opens to the general public at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 23.
- Music performances will go on Friday, July 24 from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 a.m., Saturday , July 25 from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 a.m., and Sunday from 12:00 p.m. to 11:00 a.m.
- Organizers say peak traffic hours for campers arriving are Thursday, July 23 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Friday July 24 from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Saturday, July 25 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., and Sunday, July 26 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Traffic Plan
- For General Admission festival attendees access to the grounds is via Line 7 S & Line 9 S. Access to Line 7 S & Line 9 S is via Hwy 11, those approaching via Ridge Road will be redirected to Hwy 11.
- VIPs and RVs will access the grounds via Line 5 S to Ridge Road taking a left on Ridge Road to Line 8
- Arriving on Hwy 11 from the south- take Highway 11 north to Line 7 S or Line 9 S, turn right on Line 7 S or Line 9 S to the entrance gates. **Changeable message signs on Hwy 11 and OPP traffic control will notify attendees of appropriate Line.
- Arriving on Hwy 11 from the north - take Highway 11 south to Line 7 or Line 9, take overpass to access Line 7 S or Line 9 S, continue to the entrance gates **changeable message signs on Hwy 11 and OPP traffic control will notify attendees of appropriate Line.
- The OPP will responsible for traffic control on Line 7, 8, and 9 of Oro-Medonte. Residents are reminded that traffic on Line 7 & 9 will be controlled access only and Line 8 will be closed from July 23 to 27.
