Lawyers are streamlining evidence in the case involving three young adults charged with sex related crimes involving children.

Shayne Lund, Avery Taylor and Kathryn Thompson are jointly charged with more than 100 offences, including sexual assault, making and distributing child pornography, bestiality, and conspiring to administer a noxious substance.

Police say most of the alleged crimes happened in Orillia last summer and involved young children.

On Wednesday, lawyers met with the judge who will presiding over the preliminary hearing.

That hearing will ultimately determine if there is enough evidence to go to trial.

Kathryn Thompson has been out on bail since spring.  Her lawyer says she has notoriety, and that people are keeping an eye on her.

Avery Taylor was denied bail and will remain in custody until the end of the proceedings, unless the judge reassesses her bail at the beginning of the preliminary hearing.

Shayne Lund also remains in custody.

The case is scheduled to return to court at the end of October and the preliminary hearing, which could take more than a month, is expected to start later this fall.
