Katherine Ward
Katherine joined CTV in the spring of 2013 as a reporter/videographer with CTV Barrie.
Since joining the Barrie team, Katherine has covered a wide range of stories taking her from the courthouse to the waters of Kempenfelt Bay, where she learned just how hard it is to kite board.
She has produced a number of news and feature length series. They include: "The High Life," a look at emerging drug trends, "Olympic Dreams," a set of athlete profiles of teens living with special needs, and "Brain Trust," a critical look at concussion care standards in Ontario.
Katherine now sits at the anchor desk and you can find her at 6 and 11pm every weekend.
Katherine holds a BA in Theatre Performance from the University of Toronto. She also performed in the Orphan Muses with U of T across Germany.
She loves to travel, read, and spend time with her family at the cottage in Muskoka.
