Police say a gaming operation was being run at a cafe north of Toronto where a fatal shooting took place last month.
However, York Regional Police say they are still investigating whether it was connected to the shooting.
Police are seeking a suspect in the June 24 shooting at the Moka Exprersso Bar Cafe in Vaughan.
Maria Voci, 47, and Christopher Desimone, 24, were killed in the attack.
Two other men who were injured have been released from hospital. They are not being identified.
Last week, police said they had found the abandoned getaway car used in the shooting, which they said was stolen from Napanee, in eastern Ontario, on June 18 or 19
