BARRIE -- Provincial police say a Barrie man faces impaired charges after a vehicle was stopped travelling in the wrong direction on Highway 400.
Police say the vehicle was pulled over after they were tipped about the wrong-way driver early Saturday (near the Bayfield Street exit).
Investigators say tests determined the 30-year-old driver had more than twice the legal blood-alcohol level.
Gregory Sealy has been charged with impaired driving, having a blood-alcohol level over the legal limit and dangerous driving.
Police say he also received a 90-day automatic licence suspension and his vehicle was impounded for seven days.
