Finding lost possessions deep underwater in Muskoka has become an art and a business for one teenager.

Paul Howe, 16, spends most of his summers submerged in the water near his grandfather’s cottage. In the last three years, the experienced diver has turned his passion into a profitable business called “Howe Deep.”

"It's always just a great feeling to grab something, come up with your hand out of the water , and have it in your hand, and reunite them with whatever it is they've lost."

Howe launched the business with the help of his grandfather Robert Howe. They say they can find anything from glasses and rings, to boat motors and keys.

"We've got a fun little thing do to help people out, and we get to hang out together."

Howe is specially certified to dive as deep as 130 feet. He uses some of the best gear available, which includes a dive computer. The device tells him how much air he has left and when he should break.

Howe Deep typically gets five calls every year and they plan to operate for the rest of the summer. Their motto is “If it exists, we can find it.”
