Gruesome evidence was presented on Thursday at the trial of Matthew Spring in Barrie.

Spring is on trial for second-degree murder, accused of killing Bradley Hubbard at a mini-golf course in Barrie three years ago.

On Thursday, jurors were shown photos of the injuries suffered by Hubbard. He died minutes after being stabbed in the neck with a broken putter.

The court heard there was a fight between Hubbard and Spring, along with Spring’s brother and a friend

Matthew Spring has pleaded not guilty and his lawyers say it was not murder but self-defence.

On Thursday the jury also saw police photographs of injuries suffered by the Spring brothers.
