A pilot and his passenger weren't hurt after their small plane went down near the Elmvale Zoo Saturday morning.

OPP say it happened just after 11 a.m. near Floss Road 7 and Highway 27.

Police say the two-seater plane belonged to a 49-year-old Bradford man. The Sport Star 2 plane suffered damage to its wings and propeller during the emergency landing. The passenger was a 58-year-old Toronto man.

The Transportation Safety Board of Canada is continuing the investigation.
