Barrie continues to have the third highest rental rates in the country.
According to PadMapper.com, the average price of a one bedroom apartment in Barrie this month is $1,210. That’s a 15.2 per cent increase from this time last year.
The average cost of a two bedroom apartment in August is $1,380, which is up 4.5 per cent when compared to last year.
Both one bedroom and two bedroom apartment prices remained relatively flat. The report shows the average cost of a two bedroom dropped by 0.7 per cent when compared to July.
Both Vancouver and Toronto hold on to the top two spots on the list. The average cost of a one bedroom apartment in Vancouver this month is $1,990.
