Wasaga Beach event offers free prom & graduation attire

Share

Prom and graduation season can be costly, but an event in Wasaga Beach offers all things glitz and glamour to help every student feel their best on a budget.

Volunteers at Clearview Community Church are accepting dresses, handbags, shoes, jewelry and everything prom is about to take the stress off others.

"Financially, it can be a strain, so this is a great way that we can give back to our local students," said Kiley Stanley with Clearview Community Church Wasaga Beach Campus. "We will take whatever you have."

Items must be clean and in good condition before donating.

Donations can be dropped off until April 13.

The Clearview Community Church Prom Shop is a free event. Doors open at the Sunnidale Road church for students to select their prom attire on April 13 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
