Police are looking for the public’s help in locating a suspect that robbed a Barrie convenience store at knife point, while wearing a rat mask.

Investigators say a man walked into a Mac’s convenience store, located at Ferndale Drive and Ardagh Drive, at around 4:32 a.m. on Tuesday.

According to Barrie police, the man was wearing a rat mask and approached the clerk with a knife in his hand. A quantity of cash was handed over and the man fled on foot. No one was injured in the robbery.

Officers found the mask and knife used in the robbery outside of the store. A search was conducted, but the suspect couldn’t be found.

The suspect is described as a white male, 6’, with a skinny build. He was last seen wearing black pants, a long sleeved shirt, and was barefoot.
