It is important to note, COVID-19 assessment centres are not walk-in clinics. Only those experiencing symptoms of the virus should go to an assessment centre.
There are several assessment centres open across the region.

The centre is located at the back of the complex at 490 Huronia Road and not directly at the urgent care clinic.
Starting on Mon., May 11, the Huronia Road location will be open from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday to Friday, and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.
The assessment centre is located in the Kiwanis building on Orillia Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital's campus.
It is a drive-thru centre that can be accessed from the Volunteer Drive entrance.
It operates weekdays from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. and 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on weekends.
The assessment centre is located in the Georgian Bay Family Health Team site in the Medical Building at 186 Erie Street.
The clinic will operate seven day a week from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.
The assessment centre is not a testing centre, as no swab tests will be given. Anyone requiring a swab test will be given further direction by the medical professionals at the clinic.
The by-appointment-only assessment centre is located adjacent to the Chigamik Community Health Centre at 845 Unit 3 King Street in the Cedar Room.
Swab tests will only be provided for those patients who meet criteria.

The assessment centres are not open for walk-ins.

The clinics are located in Building B at 100 Frank Miller Drive in Huntsville and the Rotary Centre for Youth at 131 Wellington Street in Bracebridge.
The Stevenson Memorial Hospital's assessment centre is located in the lower parking lot.
Open three days a week, Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.
The assessment centre is located in the Ambulance Bay next to the emergency department at Southlake Regional Health Centre.
The centre is open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. for anyone experiencing symptoms of the virus.
Headwaters Health Care Centre opened a centre to patients with symptoms of COVID-19 seven days a week from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
It is a self-contained, semi-permanent, hard-sided tent located on the top parking lot at 140 Rolling Hills Drive.
Patients will drive thru and be assessed while remaining inside their vehicles.
Walk-ins are welcome.
The assessment centre is located at the hospital and operates seven days a week from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m.
The centre is located at the Owen Sound Regional Hospital and is open seven days a week from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m.
What to know before heading to an assessment centre
- Use the online screening tool to determine if you need to be assessed
- If you can manage your symptoms at home, stay at home in self-isolation
- If you have COVID-19 symptoms that are unmanageable at home, go to an assessment centre to see a health professional
- Most centres will make you wait in your vehicle, wait times are lengthy
- Centres will not provide swab tests, you will be directed to a testing clinic if it is deemed necessary
- Most people will recover at home and do not require medical attention
- No prescriptions will be provided at the centre
