Police in Jamaica say 53-year-old Shirley Lewis-McFarlane had blunt force trauma and had bruises on her face when she was found.

She was found dead last week in a home she was renting in St. Ann's, on the northern coast of Jamaica. An autopsy was performed on her body today and police say the results should be available tomorrow.   Homicide detectives have been brought in from the larger police department in the country’s capital Kingston to help in the investigation.

So far there are no suspects.

Lewis-McFarlane was from Aurora, but had been living in Jamaica for several months.
