OFM called after suspicious fire at abandoned farm house in Bradford West Gwillimbury

The Ontario Fire Marshal's Office has been contacted to investigate a suspicious fire in Bradford West Gwillimbury.

Bradford fire crews were called to the scene on Monday at around 3:24 a.m. on Line 10, near Sideroad 5. The abandoned farm house was completely destroyed – collapsing on itself because of the damage.

Fire crews from Innisfil and New Tecumseth were called in to provide assistance. No injuries are reported.

The cause of the fire is considered suspicious and the OFM has been contacted.

Heavy machinery was brought in to remove debris, so firefighters could put out hot spots.

Crews remained on scene for several hours
