NEW TECUMSETH, Ont. -- A 46-year-old man is facing drug charges after a cocaine trafficking investigation.

Ontario Provincial Police say officers searched a home in New Tecumseth, Ont., on Thursday in connection with the investigation.

They say the search turned up a quantity of percocets, cocaine, magic mushrooms and hash oil, along with paraphernalia related to alleged drug trafficking.

Police also seized more than $5,000 in cash.

Police say the accused was arrested and charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking and possession of a controlled substance.
