A 70-year-old man involved in a motorcycle crash in Wasaga Beach yesterday has died.
OPP and emergency first responders were called to a serious crash between a motorcycle and an SUV near Wasaga Beach at about noon Monday at Klondike Park Road and Power Line Road.
OPP say a westbound motorcycle went into the eastbound land on a curve and collided with an eastbound SUV.
The motorcycle rider, 70-year-old man from Wasaga Beach, was taken to hospital with injuries police called serious but non-life threatening. Today, however, police say he succumbed to those injuries.
Police had a section of Klondike Road closed while they investigated. It has since been opened. The investigation is ongoing.
