South Simcoe Police says they are concerned after several rifles and handguns were stolen during a break and enter in Bradford.

Officers say an unknown number of suspects broke into a rural home sometime between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. on Friday.

Several items were taken, including 17 rifles and two handguns that were stored inside a locked gun cabinet. Members of the South Simcoe Police forensics unit are now analyzing evidence that was found at the scene.

Police say there is always a concern when a firearm is stolen, especially this many.
