Environment Canada has ended all severe thunderstorm watches and warnings for the region.
The weather authority issued the alerts on Thursday afternoon, as a system capable of producing heavy rain, large hail and wind gusts of 90 km/h moves into the region.
Meteorologists say the system could have caused fast moving water across roads and winds strong enough to toss loose objects and down branches.
