Man dies of injuries weeks after collision in Newmarket

A 40-year-old man involved in a collision in Newmarket last month has died.

According to police, the crash happened around 9:50 a.m. on June 21 in the area of Mulock Drive and Sandford Street.

The man was initially rushed to the hospital with serious injuries.

Police say he succumbed to his injuries on Thursday.

York Regional Police's Major Collision Investigation Unit has taken over the case.

Investigators are appealing to witnesses and anyone with dash cam footage of the area around the time of the collision.

Residents and business owners are asked to upload any video that might help with the investigation through this link.
