Police are investigating the shooting death of a 26-year-old man in Newmarket, Ont.
York regional police say two people were shot at a home on Friday evening.
Officers found a 26-year-old man and a 23-year-old woman in front of the home suffering from gunshot wounds.
The woman was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The man was also taken to hospital, where he died of his injuries.
Homicide investigators believe two male suspects got out of a dark-coloured vehicle and shot the victims while they were in their car, which was parked in the driveway.
Investigators are asking witnesses to come forward and are canvassing the neighbourhood for video surveillance, including dashcam footage.
