A long distance truck driver who attacked and sexually assaulted two Barrie men in different sexual assaults was sentenced to three years in jail on Thursday.

The violent attacks happened late at night in downtown Barrie in December of 2012 and a few weeks later in January of 2013.

The two male victims, aged 20 and 23, were attacked while walking home after drinking with friends in a downtown bar.

Jordan Mannisto, 29, of Thunder Bay was arrested five month later. He pled guilty to the charges in June.

Mannisto has already been in custody for 16 months so he only has 20 months left to serve. He was also sentenced to two year probation and will be on the sex offender registry for life.
