A truck driver from Thunder Bay has pleaded guilty to two, separate sexual assaults against men in Barrie.

The violent assaults happened late at night in downtown Barrie in December 2012 and January 2013.

The court heard how the accused befriended the victims, then attacked and sexually assaulted them in a secluded area.

Police say they got a break in the case when they arrested the accused for masturbating in public and took a DNA sample which matched DNA samples taken from the assaults.

A judge will sentence the man next month. The crown is asking for three years in jail.
