Police say Tracy June Cox, 32, was killed when she was hit by a train near Torrance, Ont. at about 5 p.m. June 22, 2013.
Bracebridge OPP say the conclusion of their investigation identified Cox, recently from Parry Sound, as the victim. Police are still investigating what caused Cox to be on the tracks at the time.
Bracebridge police are investigating the incident with CN police investigators and the Central Region traffic investigation unit.
Southwood Road south of Highway 169 and Southwood Road at 9 Mile Lake Road were closed for several hours during the investigation. Torrance is between Bala and Gravenhurst.
