Investigators with the Ontario Fire Marshal's Office are looking for the cause of a fire that ripped through a barn on Saturday evening.
Heavy black smoke and flames could be seen coming from a barn off of Highway 48, at around 4:30 p.m.
It took crews several hours to get it under control – damage is significant.
Officials say parts of the roof collapsed in the fire. The barn was used to store construction equipment.
The OFM and York Regional Police are assisting Georgina firefighters in the investigation.
It's unclear if the fire is suspicious.
