The OLG has confirmed a single winning ticket from Friday night's draw was validated in Orillia.

This marks the second time in less than two months that a winning ticket was sold in the city.

"It's pretty exciting compared to all the other towns that have had lottery sold and how small our town is compared to all the other cities," says Jessica Hawke, an employee at Laclie Pharmacy, where a $20 million ticket was sold in July.

Since then ticket sales at the pharmacy have almost doubled.

At this time OLG doesn't know the circumstances of the winner, but will have more information once the winner comes to Toronto to collect their prize.
