A Keswick family has a new place to call home thanks to the Greater Toronto Area Habitat for Humanity.
The Habitat team gathered together on Tuesday morning to introduce the Smith family to their new house in the Town of Georgina on Metro Road in Jackson’s Point.
Lisa Smith, a single mother, has tried to find safe, affordable housing for years.
The family currently lives in an overcrowded home that the Smiths say has mold and lacks sufficient heating.
