A woman was arrested early Saturday morning after she allegedly slurred her order at a drive-thru in Barrie.

According to Barrie police, officers patrolling downtown around 2 a.m. were alerted to a possible impaired driver at a nearby restaurant.

Police say the woman was slurring her words so badly that attendant couldn’t understand what she was trying to order. The driver was arrested shortly after when she was leaving the restaurant.

The woman provided a breath sample, where police say she blew three times over the legal blood alcohol limit.

The accused will appear before a court at a future date.
