The Simcoe County District School Board has chosen a buyer for Barrie Central Collegiate.
The board won't give any details on the buyer, only that the investigative process is now underway. There's no final closing date yet, but they are working towards the fall.
The school was listed for sale in March for just under $5 million.
Students are in the process of writing exams this week.
The last day of commencement for the final graduating class from the school is June 28.
