The OPP and Ministry of Natural Resources are investigating after the report of a bear sighting in the Coldwater area early Wednesday morning.
The bear was seen eating birdseed from a bird feeder in the yard of a residence of Earls Court around 6:40 a.m.
Police say the principal of Coldwater Public School has been contacted about the situation.
All bear sightings should be reported to the MNR Bear Hotline at 1-866-514-2327.
