A 35-year-old woman from Bradford has been charged with aggravated assault after an incident in Bradford last month.
The incident happened outside the Village Inn Bar on Holland Street July 31 and, according to police, a 64-year-old Barrie man fell and struck his head. He was taken to hospital in critical condition.
Police say they were notified of the incident two days after it happened and then launched their investigation.
On Thursday, the woman – who is an employee of the Village Inn, turned herself in to police.
She has been charged with aggravated assault and obstructing justice. She was released from custody with strict conditions.
The victim remains in a Toronto hospital in critical condition.
