A 64-year-old Barrie man is still in critical condition after what police are calling an aggravated assault in Bradford last week.
The incident happend outside the Village Inn Bar on Holland Street July 31 and, according to police, the man fell and struck his head. He fell to the sidewalk on the west side of the bar on Simcoe Road.
“We are looking for witnesses in the area who may have been walking on Simcoe Road at the time and ... saw him on the sidewalk,” says South Simcoe Police Staff Sgt. John VanDyke.
Police say they were only notified of the incident two days after it happened and then launched their investigation. Police say more details will become available in the days to come.
