A pub in Whitchurch-Stouffville has set a Guinness World Record and has its sights set on another.

The Earl of Whitchurch Pub started their quest to break a world record on St. Patrick’s Day and has since claimed one for the "Longest Live Concert Streamed Over the Internet".

However, this isn’t the record they set out to break. On Sunday the pub broke the official record of 370 hours set in Las Vegas for the “Longest Concert,” but there’s been a complication.

AJ’s Café, a Detroit coffee shop, claims it took the title late last month after hosting 390 hours of continuous music.

When local organizers learned about this, they decided to extend the concert at the Earl until Tuesday. Officials say this will definitely secure them the record.

The pub’s efforts have also raised more than $80,000 for 17 charities.
