Barrie police say two men stole a donation box from a coffee shop in the downtown area this morning.
The alleged robbery happened at the Tim Horton's near the downtown. According to police, two men walked in, placed an order, and then asked the employee to open the cash register.
But the person who was working couldn't get into the till, so instead the thieves took a donation box for the Tim Horton's Children’s Foundation, which is a charity that helps send kids to camp.
Anyone with information on the robbery is asked to get in touch with police.
