Barrie’s first ever Pride Week kicked off on Friday afternoon with the raising of the Pride Flag at City Hall.
Barrie Mayor Jeff Lehman, Barrie Police Chief Kimberley Greenwood and members of Barrie Pride took part in the ceremony.
Several events over the next week will be held across the city – including Barrie’s first Pride Parade on Saturday June 14, 2014.
