A forensic anthropologist is starting to remove human remains found at an Oro-Medonte golf course.

Hunters found the remains in a wooded area on Tuesday at Heritage Hills Golf Club. The area was immediately cordoned off by the OPP and a tent was erected.

Investigators have used heaters to melt the snow and ice where the remains were found.

Once the remains are removed, they will be transported to Toronto for an autopsy.

Police are not ruling out the possibility that these human remains may be linked to a missing person’s case.
