A fire over the weekend in Bradford West Gwillimbury is being treated as suspicious.
Fire crews were called to an abandoned farm house on Yonge Street on Saturday morning. Flames could be seen shooting from the house when firefighters arrived.
“They had a working structure fire in the back of the house they extended the lines, knocked the fire down and then checked for hot spots,” says fire chief Kevin Gallant.
South Simcoe Police and the Ontario Fire Marshal’s Office is now investigating.
Anyone with information is asked to contact police or Crime Stoppers.
