"Construction timelines are subject to change," the City noted.
Motorists will have to detour around the temporary closure as work continues on another section of Bayview Drive, south of Little Avenue to Big Bay Point Road.
The project includes road widening, bike lanes, sidewalk work, new water mains and stormwater work, plus resurfacing on Bayview Drive from Little Avenue to Springhome Road.
Traffic through that area is down to one southbound lane only.
The City anticipates that section of Bayview Drive will be completed in 2026.
