New Year's Day shooting under investigation in Bradford
Police in Bradford West Gwillimbury are investigating a shooting they say happened on New Year’s Day.
Police say officers received a call on Wednesday morning about a damaged vehicle in the area of Imperial Crescent.
They say when officers arrived, they found two damaged vehicles caused by a single gunshot.
Police believe the gun was fired sometime around 1:30 a.m. and targeted a specific vehicle.

Officials say no injuries were reported and the incident is believed to be isolated.
“However, there is always a concern when any firearm is openly fired in a public space,” South Simcoe police stated in a release issued on Monday.
While police investigate the incident, they are appealing to the public for information, including camera security footage in the area of Melbourne Drive and Imperial Crescent between midnight and 4 a.m. on Jan. 1.
