Barrie police are still looking for a man they say stormed a home in the city’s east end earlier this month armed with a gun.
According to police, the home invasion happened along Hickling Trail around noon April 12. A man knocked on the front door of a home, and then pushed his way inside.
Police say the man threatened to shoot the two men who were inside the house. And then the intruder allegedly hit one of the men in the head with a gun.
The suspect is described as male, black, 6’2” with a muscular build, short dark and curly hair, about 26 years old, and with a scruffy goatee.
Police say it’s unknown whether the suspect was involved in any similar crimes.
Officers are looking for an older model beige minivan with tinted windows and a grey bumper.
They are working to identify the man.
