The westbound vehicle contained four teens between 15 and 17 years old, three of whom were pronounced dead at the scene. One of the teens was taken to the hospital, where police say he succumbed to his injuries.

All four have since been identified as Chinese students by the Consulate General of the People's Republic of China in Toronto.

Police also say a 42-year-old woman from Huntsville died at the scene of the crash.

Highway 60 remained closed for several hours for officers to complete the preliminary investigation.

The roadway has reopened, but police say an investigation is ongoing. Top Stories
