17-year-old charged with first-degree murder in Owen Sound homicide

Police have charged a 17-year-old with first-degree murder in the death of a teen in Owen Sound over the summer.

Robert McIntosh, 17, died after what provincial police are calling a targeted shooting at an apartment complex on 6th Avenue West on July 11.

Two other individuals, a 34-year-old from Owen Sound and a 25-year-old from North York, also face first-degree murder charges in connection with the shooting.

The investigation is ongoing under the direction of the Criminal Investigation Branch, with members of Owen Sound Police Services and several OPP units assisting.

Police ask anyone with information that could help with the investigation to contact the authorities or Crime Stoppers to remain anonymous.
