Witnesses sought in suspicious fire at construction site

Police are treating a fire at a construction site in Orillia as suspicious.

Shortly after midnight on Tuesday, the OPP says an excavator was found engulfed in flames at a construction yard on Monarch Drive.

The fire has since been deemed suspicious by provincial police. No injuries are reported.

Anyone with information is asked to call police or Crime Stoppers.
