A volunteer firefighter from Tiny Township remains at a hospital in Toronto tonight after falling from a float during the Wyevale Santa Claus parade.
The OPP says he was injured Saturday night and was taken to Georgian Bay General Hospital, then to a hospital in Toronto with serious injuries.
Police are still looking into what happened.
Tiny Township Fire Chief Tony Mintoff says the firefighter appears to be in stable condition in Toronto now. Mintoff says other members of the department are concerned about his well-being, but are optimistic for a complete and speedy recovery.
