The mother of one of Shayne Lund’s victims says her daughter will never be the same.

The woman made the comments, as she read a victim impact statement at Lund’s dangerous offender hearing on Wednesday in Bradford courtroom.

The mother told the court that what happened has changed her world, saying that she doesn't trust men around children. She also said that in her opinion, no jail time is long enough for Lund.

The court has already heard from a number of victims and a psychiatrist.

The hearing is helping determine how severe Lund’s sentence might be and when he may be allowed to apply for parole. He has pleaded guilty to more than 30 offences, including sex crime against children.

It's still not clear when Lund's sentence will be handed down.
