A small sinkhole on Highway 400 in the north part of Barrie caused delays for drivers on Friday afternoon.
Police say the northbound highway is down to one lane between Bayfield Street to Duckworth Street.
As of 3:00 p.m., OPP Sgt. Kerry Schmidt says crews are fixing the sinkhole.
Police say all ramps to Highway 400 northbound from Mapleview to Bayfield are closed due to the sinkhole but you can get on the highway at Duckworth.
OPP is reporting that traffic is moving slowly through Barrie due to the construction.
All lanes of the highway are expected to reopen by 9:00 p.m. on Friday night.
