Half a dozen people have been forced out of their home after a morning fire in Midland.
Firefighters were called to a two-storey home on Bayview Drive just before 10 a.m. The six residents were able to make it out without injury.
One of the residents believes a laptop that was left on a couch caught fire. However, fire investigators haven’t been able to determine an exact cause.
A damage estimate has not been released, but it is considered significant.
The Ontario Fire Marshal’s Office will not be contacted.
